HELMET To Play Free Show In Hollywood
April 10, 2007HELMET will play a free show tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 11) at Cinespace in Hollywood, California. Also appearing on the bill are NATIONAL DUST and AIRIEL DOWN.
HELMET's video for "Monochrome", filmed by director David Brodsky (GWAR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, THE RED CHORD) of MyGoodEye and featuring clips from the "Saw III" movie, has been posted online at YouTube.com.
"Monochrome" is featured on the "Saw III" soundtrack, which came out on Oct. 24, 2006 via Warcon Enterprises.
HELMET last year announced the addition of drummer Kyle Stevenson and bassist John Fuller to its ranks.
The band's latest album, "Monochrome", was released in July. The follow-up to 2004's "Size Matters" was co-produced by Wharton Tiers, who recorded the band's first two releases, "Strap It On" and "Meantime".
